hello,
My name is Amy Brooke - thanks for checking out my site!
I work as a freelance consultant across the sustainability landscape.
By birth, I am a sun-loving Zimbabwean woman, and by training, an Environmental Engineer & Systems Thinker educated at some of the world’s top institutions.
Essentially, I am a polymath, passionate about all things sustainability and open to tackling any kind of complex challenge in the field.
My personal mission is to contribute to sourcing, creating and financing a network of high-integrity sustainable development projects across Africa, at scale. I seek to build bridges connecting the people on the ground with sources of capital, so we can co-create an equitable, just and thriving future for all.
After completing my schooling in Zimbabwe, I studied Environmental Engineering at Harvard College. Following this I received my master’s from Cambridge University in Engineering for Sustainable Development where my deep study focused on large scale water supply systems.
I have since worked in London in carbon project financing, developing a comprehensive understanding of the Voluntary Carbon Market.
I am personally very interested in all things related to freshwater, trees, and the preservation and rehabilitation of bio-diverse wild spaces, particularly in Africa.
